Leicester to Remain In Lockdown...
Last night we received news that Leicester and surrounding areas would not be coming out of lockdown as expected with the rest of the country at the weekend.
With plans for pubs, restaurants and hairdressers to be opening from the 4th July, Leicester have received the disheartening news that they will remain in lockdown for a further two weeks, with shops and schools closing back down.
How will this affect us here at Translink Express Logistics?
Translink Express Logistics are based in Narborough, which is an area currently showing outside of the Leicester Lockdown area. Here at Translink Express we have continued to operate business as usual throughout the pandemic with our industry being classed as essential work.
During the course of the COVID-19 outbreak we offered additional resources to help keep the country moving, ensuring essential supplies such as medical equipment, food items and cleaning products were delivered throughout the UK.
We are keeping a close eye on government guidelines to ensure we can keep all members of staff and our customer's safe whilst continuing to help deliver goods around the country.
A number of measures have been put in to place within the business since the start of the pandemic, which we will continue to adhere to moving forward.
